Did you know creating a work uniform will save you time and money?
When I was younger I hated the idea of having to wear a uniform.
To earn extra money I worked part time in a supermarket on top of my day job before I became a teenage mum.
Their ugly work uniform at the time was a really drab brown a-line dress with a belt.
An ugly color with an ugly cut and it did no favors for anyone bigger than a UK size 8/US4.
That first experience of wearing a uniform put me off the idea of ever wearing one for my day job. Luckily as a civil servant I don’t need to.
But here’s the funny thing.
15 years after leaving that depressing brown dress behind I found myself with a self-imposed work uniform.
Needless to say brown doesn’t feature!
When you are working full time with small children, time and money are often in short supply.
Even if you earn a decent wage I know you will put the children, bills and life first before buying yourself clothes to make you look and feel good whilst at work.
When working you don’t have time to dress yourself carefully and stylishly.
You don’t have the money to spend on the latest fashions to then wear them to work.
When money is tight, buying clothes for yourself is your last thought.
Many workplaces require you to dress smartly or smart casual. These are so broad that your entire wardrobe could fit these categories.
Choosing what to wear every day from your entire wardrobe can be painful and time wasting.
The Problem
Do these problems sound familiar? Do you:-
Waste time standing in front of your wardrobe wondering what to wear
End up wearing something you are not comfortable in and it drags your day down
Wear your nicest clothes because you’re not sure if something else suits you
Spend time trying to match shoes to clothes
Waste yet more of your precious time choosing matching accessories
Feel frazzled by the time you have finished dressing
Spend too much on clothes so you have enough to wear both at work and at home?
The Solution
The solution is to design your own work uniform. By creating a capsule wardrobe for work you can stop wearing all your nicer gear.
When you get a chance to go on a night out you will be able to wear something that feels special.
How To Design Your Own Workwear Sets (Capsule Wardrobe)
Decide on a style of dressing that will be appropriate for your workplace
Ensure you are comfortable with this clothing style
A small palette of 2/3 base colors
Choose clothing styles that are interchangeable with other items in your base color
Classic styles with minimal branding/logos don’t date
Choose tops that you can wear with all of your base colors
Ensure your shoes are comfortable enough to wear all day, more than once a week
I work in an office and manage a team so needed a women’s professional wardrobe, choosing to team jackets with skirts and trousers.
When your factory is running at full speed, trying to ship a product or fulfill an order, the last thing you want is a conveyor belt running off course. Unfortunately, sometimes even the slightest movement or change on a conveyor can throw the belt off track. Misalignment of idlers or rollers, improper joints, and material accumulation are just some of the reasons that can cause your conveyor belt to deviate from the track. Sometimes, minor collisions with heavy machinery and even weather -- strong winds, frost, and sun exposure -- can interfere with your conveyor beltpath.
Potential danger of running off course
If found and corrected in time, the conveyor belt deviation will hardly damage the conveyor. However, other types of damage may occur if it is not detected or corrected. If the conveyor belt continuously hits the frame, it will not only damage the frame, but also may scrape off the conveyor belt layer by layer until it is worn out. Conveyor belt width will also be affected, resulting in a reduction in the amount of material carried.
If the conveyor belt runs badly off course, the material will overflow from the top to the surrounding area, which may lead to safety violations. In rare cases, friction can heat up and the conveyor belt can become a source of fire, causing serious safety problems.
Safety regulations are also a factor
Safety regulations are in place in many parts of the world to regulate these issues. For example, in the United States, the MSHA enacted 30CFR 75.1731, which specifically states that "conveyor belts must be properly aligned to prevent friction between a moving conveyor belt and a frame or component." Failure to comply with these regulations can result in fines and/or disruption of operations.
Temporary repair of conveyor belt
For most factories, a complete overhaul of conveyors is usually not within the budget. Instead, some people resort to temporary repair procedures - such as attaching side rollers to conveyors - which can actually make the problem worse. Idlers mounted on the edge of conveyor belts are not always effective because conveyor belts are better suited for pulling than pushing, so this runs in reverse. Another method of adjusting the conveyor belt is to use friction - oblique idlers relative to the direction in which the belt is running. The third method is to adjust the tension. Usually the conveyor belt is always "away" from the high tension side. If the tension on one side increases, the conveyor belt will move to the other side.
The combination of friction and tension effectively prevents the conveyor belt from running off
Field tests have shown that a combination of friction and tension is the best way to get the Huayue conveyor beltback on track when the racks are not aligned correctly. Many equipment manufacturers provide edge idlers alongside steel return idlers that allow them to rotate or tilt relative to the travel of the conveyor belt. The friction exerted by the idlers on the conveyor belt can turn the latter. The problem with this method is that the edge of the conveyor belt will hit the edge idlers hard, but with little practical effect, and will exert great pressure on the edge of the conveyor belt. This will create greater force in the idlers, which may damage the conveyor belt.
Other manufacturers often offer products called "oscillators" for this purpose, which use a single central bearing inside a gelatin-covered idler (pipe) to cause the conveyor belt to turn. The problem with this design is that in order to generate steering force, the idlers have to be tilted down on the off-course side. This can backfire, as reducing tension can quickly cause the belt to slip into more serious running. Only in applications with minimal tension, where the steering force is much more influential than the tension, does this approach have a chance of providing good results.
In order to avoid applying too much pressure or making the deviation problem worse, the tracker with a "rotating and tilting" design can ensure friction and change the conveyor belt tension distribution. The rotating and tilting mechanism can make the conveyor belt back to the middle of the conveyor, and the efficiency is more than three times higher than other schemes.
The next time you encounter a conveyor that runs sideways or sideways, consider using a "spin and tilt" tracker. This is a very efficient solution that works before off-track problems cause damage or downtime.

Buying acoat rackfor your home can help organize an entryway, foyer or mudroom, and it is an almost essential organizing accessory for families with children. There are several different types of coat racks to choose from, including freestanding coat racks and wall-mounted coat racks. To make the most of your space and organization, consider the overall use of your entryway or mudroom while considering the type of coat rack you want to purchase.
Before you start shopping, it is recommended that you look around the room and consider where to place them. This allows you to begin planning the style of your event environment in advance.
Which room would benefit the most from a stylish coat rack?
Where in the current arrangement of that room is there enough space for a coat rack?
Which type of coat rack will help you maximize that space in an organic and appealing way?
Iron Art Hanging Clothes Rack
Every house has a major entry point where not only coats, but also hats, gloves and shoes are discarded and collected on a daily basis. The right garment rack will help control clutter and make the space more usable. If your entryway is very small and you don't have any type of closet, you may want to opt for wall-mounted coat racks. Consider combining shelves and coat racks for additional organization. There are many different styles that combine shelf space, cubby storage and hanging hooks, and by mounting a combination coat rack to the wall, you can save valuable floor space.
If you have a small entryway but a closet, consider using an out-the-door coat rack. These are easy to install because they simply hang from the top of the door, with the option of screwing them in further. Over-the-door coat racks offer the option of hanging with the hooks facing outward for easy access in the fall and winter, and keeping coats out of sight facing in the spring and summer.
Choosing the right coat rack for your space will help control clutter, but also make sure you leave room for designated space for shoes and other items. If you have children, consider a coat rack that can accommodate coats and school bags. Also, avoid freestanding coat racks that tend to tilt, and remember to hang wall-mounted coat racks where children can reach them.
Racks of different materials
What materials are available for coat racks? It depends on which shape you prefer and how you intend to use it.
Wood is the most commonly used material, especially on coat racks shaped like trees, as the branches can hold items. Wood looks more natural and is easier to make into a rack than metal.More information please click here
Have you ever wondered whether magnets are safe or not? In this post, you can find out if magnets are safe. Including ways they are safe, and how they can be dangerous if you do not handle them in the right way.
Are our neodymium magnets safe? Neodymium magnets are perfectly safe to use, as long as you handle them with proper care. Magnetic fields are not dangerous to humans at all. Though, magnets can damage some electronic devices. For example, TVs, hearing aids, watches, credit cards, and computers can all be damaged by magnets.
Do you feel well informed about the safety of magnets? If you do, great! If you don't, you should keep reading. In this post, we will not only tell you how and why magnets can be dangerous, but we will also walk through some basic tips for how you should handle your magnets in different situations.
Are our neodymium magnets safe?
Neodymium magnets are perfectly safe for humans and animals as long as you handle them with care. For older kids and grown-ups, smaller magnets can be used for everyday applications and entertaining.
But remember, magnets are not a toy for toddlers and minor kids to play with. You should never leave them alone with strong magnets like neodymium magnets. First of all, they might choke on the magnets if they swallow them.
You should also be careful not to hurt your hands and fingers when handling stronger magnets. Some neodymium magnets are strong enough to cause some serious damage to your fingers and/or hands if they get jammed between a strong magnet and metal or another magnet.
You should also be cautious with your electronic devices. Strong magnets like neodymium magnets can as mentioned before, damage some electronic devices. Therefore, you should keep your magnets in a safe distance from TVs, credit cards, computers, hearing aids, speakers and similar electronic devices.
In general, you should try to follow these 5 tips when handling neodymium magnets.
You should always wear safety goggles when handling large and strong magnets.
You should always wear protective gloves when handling large and strong magnets
Neodymium magnets are not a toy for children to play with. The magnets are very strong!
Keep neodymium magnets at least 25 cm away from electronic devices.
Keep neodymium magnets at a very safe and long distance from individuals with a pacemaker or an implanted heart defibrillator.
In case you didn’t already know, magnets can’t just be shipped in an envelope or plastic bag like other goods. And you certainly can’t put them in a mailbox and expect everything to be business as usual shipping vise.
If you put it in a mailbox, it will simply stick to the inside of the mailbox, because they’re made of steel!
When shipping a strong neodymium magnet, you need to pack it so it doesn’t attach to steel objects or surfaces.
This can be done by using a cardboard box and a lot of soft packaging. The main objective is to keep the magnet as far away from any steel as possible while reducing the magnetic force at the same time.
You can also use something called a “keeper”. A keeper is a piece of metal that close the magnetic circuit. You simply attach the metal to the two poles of the magnet, which will contain the magnetic field. This is a very effective way to reduce the magnetic force of the magnet while shipping it.
Neodymium magnets and health
Even though magnets are safe for people's health in general, it is important to remember that neodymium magnets can be dangerous for certain medical implants like pacemakers. Some people also experience problems with nickel allergies when handling some types of magnets, for example, the ones that are used in jewelry.
If you have a pacemaker or implanted heart defibrillator, you need to be aware that magnets can affect them. Strong permanent magnets, like neodymium magnets, can affect the function of both pacemakers and implanted heart defibrillators.
Studies how found that the use of everyday magnets can affect such medical devices if they come within 24 centimeters of the device.
As mentioned before, neodymium magnets that are coated with nickel can lead to an allergic reaction. Most people only react to nickel if they are exposed to it for a longer duration of time.
If you are allergic to nickel or worried that you might develop an allergy to it, you should avoid contact with nickel for longer periods. It is very individual how much exposition of nickel one can handle, therefore you should handle it with caution.
Tips for safe handling of magnets
Choking/Swallowing
Do not let small children alone with magnets. Children can swallow smaller magnets. If one or several magnets are swallowed, they risk getting stuck in the intestine, which can cause perilous complications.
Electrical danger
Magnets are as you probably know, made of metal and electricity. Do not let children or anyone for that matter put magnets into an electrical outlet. It may cause an electric shock.
Watch your fingers
Some magnets, including neodymium magnets, can have a very strong magnetic strength. If you don’t handle the magnets in with caution, you risk jamming your fingers in between two strong magnets.
Very powerful magnets can even break bones. If you need to handle very large and powerful magnets, it is a good idea to wear protective gloves.
Don’t mix magnets and pacemakers
Magnets may affect pacemakers and internal heart defibrillators. For example, a pacemaker may go into test mode and cause the patient to get ill. Also, a heart defibrillator can stop working.
Therefore, you must keep such devices away from magnets. You should also advise others to do the same.
Heavy things
Too much weight and/or defects may cause objects to loosen from a magnet. Heavy objects falling from a height can be very dangerous and lead to serious accidents.
You can’t always count 100% on the indicated adhesive force of a magnet. The declared force is often tested in perfect conditions, where there are no disturbances or defects of any kind.
Metal fractures
Magnets made of neodymium can be quite fragile, which sometimes results in magnets cracking and/or splintering into many pieces. These splinters can be spread up to several meters away
Magnetic fields
Magnets produce a wide-reaching magnetic reach, which isn’t dangerous for humans but can cause damage to electronic devices, such as TVs, hearing aids, watches, and computers.
To avoid this, you need to keep your magnets at a safe distance from such devices.
Fire danger
If you process magnets, the dust can relatively easily ignite. Therefore, if you drill in magnets or any other activity which produces magnet dust, keep the fire at a safe distance.
Allergies
Some types of magnets may contain nickel. Even if they are not coated with nickel, they might still contain nickel. Some individuals may have an allergic reaction when they have contact with nickel. You might already have experienced this with some jewelry.
Be aware, that nickel allergies can be developed from having contact with nickel-coated objects. If you already suffer from nickel allergy, you should, of course, avoid contact with that.

The lens is an indispensable part of the thermal imaging camera. Its function is to focus the infrared radiation of the target on the infrared detector, and after photoelectric conversion and image processing, a good contrast image is finally formed. The quality of the infrared lens largely determines the performance of the infrared camera.
2. Factors to Consider When Choosing an IR Lens
1. Band
Infrared lenses should be specially designed according to their operating band to optimize their performance. The infrared materials used in infrared lenses of different wavelengths are also different.
2. Vignetting
Generally speaking, IR lenses do not allow vignetting. For the lens used in the infrared cooling detector, if the lens has vignetting, it cannot meet the 100% cold aperture efficiency design principle, and the stray radiation will affect the performance of the infrared thermal imager.
3. Focal length and field of view
Infrared lenses are usually identified by their focal length. As the focal length increases, the field of view of the lens narrows. Conversely, as the focal length decreases, the field of view widens.
Infrared lenses can generally be divided into single-field lenses, multi-field lenses, and continuous zoom lenses. Since the infrared continuous zoom lens can realize target search and continuous tracking of targets at different distances, it has been widely used in many fields.
4. F-number
The F-number of the infrared lens determines how much radiant energy from the target enters the thermal imager. The smaller the F-number, the larger the size of the infrared lens at the same focal length.
5. Transmittance
Most infrared materials have a high refractive index, and theSunny lenses in the infrared lens need to be coated with a high-efficiency anti-reflection coating to increase the transmittance of the infrared lens. As the number of lenses in the lens increases, the light transmittance of the lens gradually decreases.
6. no heating
Since the refractive index of infrared materials varies greatly with temperature, when the ambient temperature changes, the Athermalized Lens will produce corresponding defocusing. The infrared lens also adopts active and passive methods to achieve athermalization to ensure the focal position of the lens when the temperature changes. Do not move.
